SmartSide™ Soffit is a smart and contemporary alternative to traditional plywood panels. A treated engineered wood soffit, SmartSide Soffit can be used for closed soffits, covered porches, patios or carport ceilings. The soffits are treated with SmartGuard processes to resist damage caused by termites and funcal decay. The embossed cedar-grain surface has no knotholes, patches or veneers to delaminate like plywood and highly resistant to warping, checking, shrinking, and splitting.

At VERSATEX, we continually look for new ways to help our builders reduce labor and improve aesthetics during installation. This led to the design and development of the first ever Vented PVC Soffit System.

While we do still manufacture solid soffit, VERSATEX offers the only vented system in the industry. This Vented Soffit has a 8/4 repeating vent pattern that provides 10 square inches of free air space per lineal foot. Plus, vents are cut in a manner to prevent nesting insect infiltration, making screening an option and not a requirement. Add the notched fascia and frieze board and you have an easy-to-install and efficient system.

Versatex provides the beauty and fine craftsmanship that you admire in a premium wood trim while providing durability and protection against the forces of nature.
